A bit about

Photography may seem like an odd career choice for an introvert. I've always been known as a wallflower and I love nothing more than observing the world around me (AKA people watching). Turns out, this trait has served me incredibly well in this profession. There is a specific art to noticing small, almost insignificant details & the introverts in your life are probably pros at this.

Weddings go by in the blink of an eye & so much will be a blur. Enter: me! You might not notice the way your husband gently brushes his hand against your cheek during private vow readings and you may totally miss the single tear streaming down your grandma's cheek during your first dance, but you can bet your bottom dollar that I will spot these often overlooked moments. My goal is simple: to witness your day with a gentle presence and a keen eye and deliver images that reflect not just what happened, but how it felt.

I love creating connection with my clients, which is why I also want to ensure we seem like a good fit on a consultation call before booking your wedding. Your photos will always reflect if you are comfortable with your photographer. This is my job, but I am not just a product and you are not just a paycheck.

I only take a certain amount of bookings each year so that I'm able to be intentional & give my all to the clients I work with rather than taking on a high volume and stretching myself thin. This prevents burnout for me & provides a better client experience for you.

Connection & Creativity

My phiLOsOphY

When I'm not photographing you can find me chasing after my 2 rambunctious boys (help), thrifting, romping around in the woods, or doing nerd activities with my husband.

I am a homebody, I prefer mountains to beaches, & cold weather over hot. I love a good stormy day & you can often find me curled up under one of my maaaaany blankets with a dystopian novel. I'm also a huge fan of dark fantasy cinema & I can talk your ear off about Guillermo del Toro's work all day long.

Nature inspires more than anything else. When I first started shooting as a preteen I showed interest in macro nature shots, but over time my interest and style has evolved, although most of my work is still very much nature inspired. Whether we are running through a mystical, foggy forest together on a rainy day or splashing around together at the base of a waterfall with sunlight trickling in between the treetops, this is the kind of environment that makes my he(ART) sing. My style also is conducive to more moody & edgy venues (think industrial mills, dark manors, etc.) and I love nothing more than heavy shadows & dramatic lighting.

I am not the bubbly, outgoing photographer who shows up and calls herself your new bestie or markets herself as your hype girl. That's just not me. My presence is intentional and unobtrusive. I move with calm, care, and curiosity, documenting what's real without feeling the need to insert myself too often. I won't manufacture connection or orchestrate emotion. Instead, I create space for it to unfold naturally & I preserve it honestly.
